    This highly visible position is the Production Facility at our Harrisonville, MO location.  Provides leadership, training and coordination skills to the plant operations teams. Works to develop SOPs and measures regarding changeovers, fill weight mgmt, cross training and new employee development.  Responsible for standardizing productivity, operations processes (Shift change, TPM, new employee or ongoing training) and waste or cost controls.



    What you’ll do:

    1. Develops and works to insure that day to day operating plan and results are consistently obtained while product specifications are met
    2. Organizes and plans labor needs such as temps, vacation coverage and overtime. Focuses on managing labor to standard
    3. Insures employees receive proper training (Safety, operations, housekeeping)
    4. Leads operating teams in the execution of the more operational aspects of the TPM program
    5. Provides analysis of operations as needed or to support initiatives or areas of opportunity
    6. Leads operating teams in problem solving and short-term business issues
    7. Works to standardize operating processes such as changeovers, start ups and shut downs
    8. Implements cost control systems in areas such as waste, repair and maintenance, supplies and labor
    9. Ensures that all hourly employees receive safety training
    10. Ensure all hourly employees’ time is properly recorded in Etime
    11. Monitor and assist with adherence to company policies and procedures
    12. Performs other duties as assigned


    What you’ll need:


    Bachelor’s degree preferred with a minimum of 2 years supervisory / lead experience in a manufacturing environment.  Additional years of relevant experience required in lieu of college degree, HS diploma required.

    4. Ability to work for long periods of time, under pressure, to produce results
    5. Ability to operate a computer in a Windows-based environment and most office equipment
